Running from March 11 to March 24, the festival offers an extensive lineup of events designed to cater to diverse interests, with all activities free of charge (unless otherwise specified).
Seniors are encouraged to participate in as many events as they wish, providing an opportunity to try something new and connect with the community.
Booking your spot is simple-just call Forbes Council on 6850 2300 or visit the Forbes Council Administration building at 2 Court St, Forbes. While most events are open to all, some require mandatory bookings due to limited spaces available.

Activities throughout the festival, include:
Monday, March 11:
- Interactive social day at Lions Park 10am to 3pm: Come on down and learn about community groups you might like to join, and meet industry professionals in vehicle and road safety, mobility scooters, home modifications, caravan safety, meals on wheels and hearing checks, to name a few.
Tuesday, March 12
- Croquet open day: Join Forbes Croquet Club at Halpin's Flat from 8.45am. You just need to wear flat-soled shoes, all equipment and morning tea provided.
Wednesday, March 13:
- Family History Group at Family History behind Forbes Library (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
- Gentle Exercise with Community Health at Town Hall, Harold St (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
- Pottery with Serendipity at 56 Quarry Road, Forbes (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM; 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
- Forbes Dancing Group at Youth & Community Centre, Battye St (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Thursday, March 14:
- Aqua Fitness at Forbes Olympic Pool (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
- Expressive Landscapes - Acrylics at Northside Chapel, Johnson St (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
- Cooking For One Session at Youth & Community Centre, Battye St (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
The festival continues with a diverse range of activities until March 24, including Family History Group sessions, gentle exercises, pottery classes, and much more.
Notable events include the Public Speaking workshop, Community Yoga sessions, and the Seniors Variety Concert to wrap up the festivities on March 24.
